Annunciation Trauma Care Community

This online community is a dedicated space for therapists who are offering care and support to the families, students, teachers, and staff of Annunciation following the tragic school shooting. Here, we gather as colleagues to share insights, clinical wisdom, and practical resources as we walk with this community through grief and trauma.

Together, we will:

• Exchange strategies for trauma-informed care and grief support.

• Reflect on the challenges of walking with individuals and families in crisis.

• Provide mutual encouragement in the face of secondary trauma and compassion fatigue.

• Share resources—articles, tools, referrals, and continuing education—that strengthen our care.

• Hold one another in a space of prayerful solidarity, acknowledging the depth of sorrow and the hope for healing.

This is not only a place to share professional expertise, but also a community of support—where therapists can process the weight of this difficult work and be reminded they are not alone.
